train Munich - Garmisch-Partenkirchen (timetable NR. 960) – exit train station Garmisch-Partenkirchen – to arrive at Farchant, use then the local bus Garmisch-Partenkirchen - Farchant (approx. all half hour) or use RVO bus line Garmisch-Partenkirchen - Oberammergau or use a taxi (at train station Garmisch-Partenkirchen) to centre of Farchant approx. 4 km.
