Our “Green Hotel”, with its 105 double rooms, was constructed in 2012 as one of the most sustainable hotels in Europe, on the foundations of what was once a giant barn. It was the first organically certified hotel in Brandenburg and many of the products used in the hotel are certified fair-trade. There are also onsite photovoltaic cells, rainwater collection systems for all bathrooms, and wood heating systems that all contribute to the hotel’s sustainability and efficiency. All rooms were constructed to reduce electromagnetic radiation.

Our Organic bedding and comforters, made with 90% down filling, are cleaned and arranged by our staff to ensure your comfort and satisfaction. Our mattresses, made by the world-renowned manufacturer COCO-MAT, are made of organic cotton, caoutchouc, seaweed, and coconut.

Guest house
The guest house, which was constructed 1875 and frequented by members of the Kreisau Circle, has a traditional Stuckfassade Facade, in addition to many of the historical elements. It offers guests 23 elegant double rooms, as well as three suites. The lakeside guest house gives guests a scenic view of Lake Behnitz, which is lined with the oldest sycamore trees in the Brandenburg region.

Our lush organic breakfast, that also includes many local products, has earned high praises from guests. Free Wi-Fi is available in all public areas.
