At the Ambienthotel Primaluna, in the dreamy surroundings of the lake shore, stands the new Ambienthotel restaurant. Here you can sample the delicious dishes prepared by Mamma Ottilia, our incomparable expert cook who specialises in homemade dainties, now also supported by chefs of longstanding experience who enrich the authenticity of our cuisine with elements of fine cuisine from an even higher level. Gourmets can dine to their heart’s content at the magnificent new premises.

One evening a week aperitifs are served on the large terrace beside the swimming pool, and the flambé specialities of Maitre Ivo and live music will live on among your best memories.

Malcesine and the Area
The Mediterranean environment on the shores of Lake Garda, which looks like a Norwegian Fjord here, dominated by Monte Baldo, is already a great reason to return to Malcesine.
The old town centre still shows its medieval origins; through the picturesque lanes you reach the Scaligero Castle, home to important exhibitions and the Monte Baldo and Lake Garda Natural History Museum. The local landscape features gardens bursting with oleander and the enormous olive groves which provide such delicious olive oil. Behind us stands the impressive bulk of the Monte Baldo massif, a true botanical garden for the variety of the flora and also known as the “Garden of Europe”.

Via the rotating cable car you can ascend from the Mediterranean environment of the lake to the alpine landscape of Monte Baldo in just a few minutes, and enjoy the extraordinary view. The climate, featuring hot, breezy summers and mild winters, can be compared to the climate of Mediterranean countries.
