The surrounding area and Natioanl Park offers ramblers the opportunity to explore the beautiful, scenic walks through the forest and countryside and is an ideal location for mountain bike enthusiasts to put their skills to the test. The area is also popular with moter bike riders and those just wishing to escape for peace and relaxation. Just 150 metres from the hotal is the Adventure Park with its rope swings and ladders for those who are a little more daring!

During the winter months, this picturesque area becomes an ideal place for skiers and snowboarders with many tracks wending their way through the forest for cross country skiing.
