On the border of the two provinces Drenthe and Groningen, surrounded by 700 hectares of natural landscape, you will find Hotel-Restaurant Stadskanaal.

It is an ideal base to explore amongst others the Fortress of Bourtange and Zoo Emmen as well as countless possibilities for hiking and bicycling.

In the immediate area of the hotel is a large choice of shops and small restaurants; at 50 meters from the front door each Saturday the large streetmarket of Stadskanaal is being held, selling for example lots of regional products. Next to the hotel is the Geert Teis Theater; a cinema is located at about 100 meters away.

Right next to the hotel is sufficient free parking space, the hotel itself has an indoor garage (5€). The guarded and indoor bicycle storage is available without charges, also if you bring your own bicycle.
